Remove unwanted programs and trialware

Many new computers come with programs and trialware (trial software that’s installed on your machine in the factory) that you didn’t ask for and probably don’t have a need for. We’ll check with you before removing it to speed up your machine and prevent those annoying pop-ups.

Perform system updates

Because of the delay between their manufacture and your purchase, many new computers will need to have the latest Windows (or other) operating system updates installed as soon as they’re taken out of the box. Avoid the headache and let us do it for you!

Optimize start-up and shutdown

Many different factors affect the speed at which your computer is able to start-up and shutdown. We take a look at all of them to ensure both processes are as quick as possible.

Create system recovery discs

System recovery disks are incredibly important and useful if your computer experiences hardware or software failure down the track.

Install internet security software

Internet security software will protect your computer and the personal information you have stored on it from being corrupted by viruses and malware (malicious software) or stolen by identity thieves.

Set-up/transfer your personal information

Before leaving, we’ll finish off by setting up your most important personal information on your new computer. If you have personal details already stored on your old machine that need transferring to the new one, our technicians will do that too!
